Apple has announced a new retail store in Perth’s central pedestrian district, Forrest Place.

On Friday, June 20, 2025, Apple introduced Apple Perth City, a new location in the heart of Forrest Place within Perth’s business district. Apple has long operated a store nearby on Hay Street, which opened in 2010. That location will permanently close on Wednesday, June 25, while the larger and more modern Forrest Place store will celebrate its grand opening on Friday, June 27, at 9:00 a.m. local time.

How to set wallpaper

Set your iPhone wallpaper
  1. In the Photos app, tap the image you downloaded.
  2. Tap Share button.
  3. Scroll down and tap Use as Wallpaper.
  4. Adjust the wallpaper to your liking, then tap Add.
  5. Tap Set as Wallpaper Pair to apply it to both your Home Screen and Lock Screen. Tap Customize Home Screen if you want to create a separate Home Screen wallpaper that you can edit.
Set your iPad wallpaper
  1. In the Photos app, tap the image you downloaded.
  2. Tap Share button.
  3. Tap Use as Wallpaper.
  4. Adjust the wallpaper to your liking, then tap Add.

Set your Mac wallpaper
  1. In Finder, open the folder where you saved the image.
  2. Right-click, or hold Control and click the image you want to set as your wallpaper.
  3. Click Set Desktop Picture. If you don’t see this option, move your cursor to Services > Set Desktop Picture.
