What We Expected
Apple is expected to unveil the following at its “Welcome home” launch on October 13:
- Smart home hub with a display and speaker
- New Apple TV 4K
- Next generation HomePod mini
The new products will be announced through press releases on Apple.com. Some members of the press have been invited to New York City for a special “New York Experience,” where they’ll get hands-on time with the new products.
Add a countdown to your Home Screen
You can add an Apple Launch countdown widget to your Home Screen using the Apple Invites app. There are three widget sizes available: 2x2, 4x2, and 4x4.
You’ll need to download the free Apple Invites app on the App Store ↗, then choose your preferred widget style and tap the Accept button below.
If you’re an iCloud+ subscriber, you can also use Apple Invites to create your own invite, with custom event artwork for the widgets.
